Butler County Narrowbanding Date

Butler county has announced they will be switching to narrowband on February 28th. The radio system will be off air between 0700 and 1900 hours. There will not be any rebanding during the conversion.

Ok, so what you're saying is that for 12 hours the police, fire and EMS will have NO radio communications?! Please tell me that is a typo or incorrect info...

I don't know why you are worrying about it now, because the switch was 2 weeks ago. Everything still comes in fine.

LOL my bad, I didn't even notice the date. I just saw a new post and assumed the thread was started recently. So I guess nothing eventful happened while the radios were down?

Date must have changed, nothing off air. In 2014, Butler County should be on the list for a Text-911 Feature.
