Hello, I’m new here and just got a uniden bc125at scanner recently, and was wondering if anyone knows the frequencies for Calgary transit, and if they will even work on my scanner
Appears that Calgary Transit operates on the Caltronic System. They are in the 800MHz range (and LTR "Trunked"), meaning an BC125AT won't be able to scan it.
Calgary Transit operates on the trunked radio system linked below. No, your BC125AT will not be able to track it. Although the system is P25 Phase-II capable, talkgroups on the system are mode "D" (FDMA) so at the bare minimum you'll need a P25 Phase-I (FDMA) scanner to track it. If the talkgroups are ever upgraded to TDMA (mode "T") then you'll need a P25 Phase-II scanner.
