Can we listen to the Space Shuttle?

Hey guys I was just wondering if there is any way we can listen to the space shuttle communications from space. Since they must use some kind of radio communications can we listen to them in any way? And if so whats the frequency? Any advice or help would be great!!!!

There has been several questions to this effect in the Aero forum, among others- the answer is yes, as long as NASA continues the streaming off its website. The Goddard 147.45 rebroadcast is down as I type this.

You cannot hear the comms from space with very rare exceptions, not really worth utilizing. You can only hear NASA TV.

I posted some direct comms from the shuttle on a similar question asked on the MD list. The answer is yes you can hear comms directly.
