The only one of those I know for sure is the 460.2875 freq. It's being used by the Baltimore City Sheriff Department with callsign WPXJ325.

The listing showing 460.2375 in the FCC databse for Maryland State-MSU is a pending file so it may or may not be accurate at this point.

The other freq neither shows in the FCC database nor do I have anything in my notes on it to help you identify it.

I've got to ask...is there any chance the freq is actually 460.035 or .04 rather than .0375? Did you try a Narrowband FM setting to try to determine the actual freq? Sorry for asking if you've already done that.

Yes, definately Westmoreland County, VA, which is just across the water from St. Mary's County, MD.

Montgomery County, VA is only a scant 300 or more miles from you. :D

TinEar, is this freq currently being used now that they are on the TRS? Or is this a backup/extra channel?

Mo, I can't give you a definite answer since I've been listening almost exclusively to the 150-160 band for the past couple of months. Other than that and Anne Arundel County, I haven't checked some of the freqs I've got programmed like that Sheriff freq in a long time. I did spend about an hour one day searching the 460-461 band and, in my notes, I have the 460.2875 with a check as being active but I can't say who was using it since it was just one hit. Sorry I can't be of more help. I probably should have mentioned in my reply to Waldo above that my ID on that freq goes back a bit.
