I had this problem, back in November. While Sentinel sees' my scanners. It can't search for a F/W or HPDB update.
I hope your right.Try it again a little later. The servers are down from time to time for maintenance or updates.
Turn off firewall and VPN. Could be a port being blocked or the DNS isn't updating. That said, turn the computer off and on again, which might reset the DNS.
Kinda what I thought. I presume you've got things updated, now. 👍The VPN was the cause.
I wouldn't say updated outright, but. All I have do is disable the VPN, for the few seconds I run the update, then. Turn the VPN, back on. I had forgotten(again), to do that. This is something that has actually happened before. I should have remembered, because. When Sentinel saw my scanners, yet. Wasn't updating. That should have been the clue.Kinda what I thought. That's because the port Sentinel usually checks for firmware and database updates was blocked. Glad that was resolved.I wouldn't say updated outright, but. If you have a VPN, shut it off, then. Update your scanner. After doing the update. Turn the VPN back on. I have made that mistake, myself.I cannot update my firmware or my database. This is the message that I keep getting.View attachment 198560
No issues updating master DB here (got no need to update fw). Who is your ISP? Have you followed the advice given to the OP in post #7?I cannot update my firmware or my database. This is the message that I keep getting.
Looks like a path issue. This usually means Windows has installed Sentinel on a virtual drive (ie: OneDrive), instead of a local drive. (Seriously, Microsoft needs to allow some programs to be selectively loaded locally, instead of in the cloud by default!)I cannot update my firmware or my database.
