cant down load

I go to the data base and click down load and it just gives me instruction on how to do it but nothing happens. It does not prompt me for my password. I only have seven days left and I cant get it to work. help.
I have a pro96 that the lcd screen keep going out and I have to reload it to get it to come back on.

You have to use a software program that will download the information that can be uploaded to the scanner.
