I just purchased my BCD436HP and I am trying to download the Sentinel software. I am prompted that I need .NET 2.0 and am redirected to Microsoft for download. I have downloaded, shut down and restarted computer and when I go to install Sentinel I keep getting the .NET software needed prompt.

What am I doing wrong? I have windows 10. Why is the Sentinel installer not recognizing the .NET software to finish the install?

Any suggestions?

Thank you.

Thanks for the link. When I do the first one it is off, I select the check box for on and am prompted to restart. When restart and try to install Sentinel I again get the .NET install prompt.

I ran the second one under the C: Admin function and had no errors to fix.

I don't know what to do at this point. Suggestions?

I don't go to the link Upman posted so my suggestion may not apply. Frequently virus protection software will keep downloaded 'items' from installing.

Thank you both. It's not an antivirus issue. I looked at the link you posted ProScan. I have done all that previously. What is strange is I install the software, check the box, and restart but when I go to run the Sentinel software I still get the same message which is I need to download the .NET framework.

I tried a different, older computer also running Windows 10 and it loaded no issue. Not sure the problem.
