That is half of why I do this, to try new ideas and share with others. Of course I steal many of my plans from others like Scott etc.
Actually it's a sickness. You need help. :D

If you had to do it over again would you get the same piece of equipment from Audiorax? Or would you get something different. I am in the process of selecting something for my desk...

As a repeat customer of AudioRax (4 different cabinets and some hardware over the past few years) I would certainly buy from them again. I am currently using a 3u flat-faced 3-bay cabinet but I still have the 4u slanted 3-bay cabinet like Scott has (mine is black however to fit my aesthetic). I might use it again later. While I prefer the slanted version as it makes accessing the radios easier, it adds to the height, that in turn makes the monitors too high. If the monitors are not your all-day viewers that might not be a big issue.

I might consider a 3u slanted cabinet, that would be about 1.75 inches shorter that the 4u and fit my panels. The monitors might still be too high for me however.

AudioRax does great work, has great products and fantastic customer support. They serve a niche market but will make what you want for a price.

I use lip mounts for my monitors this helps keep desk space clear and not having the monitors on top at an awkward angle.

Yes, I have monitor arms as well, that allows me to easily adjust the angle and height. With the current desk (SecretLabs Magnus ProXL) allowing a lower deck height than my prior sit/stand desks I can keep the monitors at a comfortable level with the 3u flat cabinet. With the 4u slant they still run a bit too high for my tastes. I might try it down the road though as my arms allow me to tilt as well.
