Have been trying to resolve this problem for some time now and hitting a dead end. The 436 is set to the Smithfield site (best signal) and programmed with Butel 436/536 software with connection to radioreference.com setup. Also have it sitting besides a 536HP and a Homepatrol 2 both of these units receive the Statewide, Viper Medical Network, Highway Assistance TG's but the 436HP will not but will receive then but can receive the NC Highway Patrol TG's. Have tried using Uniden Sentenial software with same results. Now thinking there might be hardware comparability issue with 436HP receiver. Any suggestions?

Make sure the "hospital" service group is turned on. If you're hearing other VIPER TGs on your 436HP then you're receiving the system properly you just don't have the hospital TGs turned on or have locked them out somehow.

On your scanner, enter the menu and scroll to Select Service Types. Hospital and Transportation must be turned On. If Off, press E to turn On.

Thanks to both of your responses..... exactly what the problem was and now corrected with your help. Guess I should have known to check that but never changed setting since initially programmed radio. I did have a corrupted memory sdcard / replacement so perhaps that’s when it got changed.... thanks again
