I find it very strange that the repeater input frequency is not 5 MHz higher than the repeater output frequency. It that because the Legend is registered in the Bahamas and not required to follow FCC rules?

ITU and FCC put these years ago on what I still call the (Burger King/McDonalds) BKMC (457/467) Pairs (Drive thru) since + 5 would cause interference to other users
the US is +/- 10.225
example of the pair 457.5250 / 467.7500

the ITU is +/- 10.000
example of the pair 457.5250 / 467.5250

ITU does present issues with out GMRS Users here in the US and altho it was to generally be 457 Repeater and 467 Repeater input
it all depended on who interpreted the rules, as we have many 467 Repeater with 457 inputs

if they did 5 mhz them we run into
457.5250 / 462.5250

imagine now
a user on 467.5250 keys up his 462.5250 repeater
which then transmits on 462.5250 causing the 457.5250 to key up (ugh)
