I am 99% sure Carson just recently got an NSRS P25 site. Recently I've noticed specifically dispatch on the analog fire and sheriff channels sound digital when they're talking. Also, when listening to the EDACS patch, Dispatch shows up as an entirely different LID than everyone else, and does not have MDC, leading me to believe they're talking on trunked. Could someone with an SDS100 or similar try to find out the information? Possible license: WQCM682 registered January 2026.

Carson City has at lesat one P25 site near McClellan Peak, I think it's called Sugarloaf or something like that. It was for records.

I went through the licenses on the FCC site and found 2 trunked sites in Carson (McClellan and Sunridge Drive) the frequencies attached to these sites were not listed for McClellan EDACS, anywhere close by or at all. I found they are both P25 sites with control channels on 851.550 NAC BF and 853.0375 NAC C3. I am currently hearing TG 10737 listed as NHP Las Vegas 1 (US-95) on 851.550 full quieting from Jacks Valley as they just sent a unit with Clark County Fire to Tropicana for some sort of outside fire.

The site I am referring to is a VHF P25 site for Carson City Sheriff- not trunking.

This is what I have so far on these sites for anyone interested. I have been running ID search as well with limited traffic.

SID:0309 CC 851.550 NAC 0BFh Slot 1
SID:0309h02 CC 853.0375 NAC 0C3h Slot 1

Last night it was only TG 10737 NHP Las Vegas 1 (US-95)
Today it has been TG 10754 NHP Reno 2 - Carson City Area

I see these 2 sites were added to the database as Ophir Peak and McClellan Peak. Although I have not heard any traffic on them lately.
