Carter County Sheriffs office and Elizabethton PD

I live in Cedar Bluff VA and I'm on the fringe of Elizabethton PD and Carter County with an outdoor antenna. I am not receiving both frequencies in question. I noticed that Elizabethton PD is DMR but it says need more information on radio reference website as of 3/25 Any help would greatly be appreciated.

What make & model scanner(s) are you using? Does it have DMR capability? As noted in the RRDB someone will have to submit the updated info regarding the supposed DMR TIII relocation

Whistler TRX 1 and TRX 2. It has DMR capability along with NXDN and P25 Phases 1 and 2

I think you are probably out of range for both of those. The Sheriff’s Office will be joining TACN, so who knows what that’s going to mean.
