so last evening i am playing around with a WS1040, trying to get the hang of how it works (knowledge of how 346XT, 436HP, PRO668 etc operate is of little use apparently) and so am doing various searches/tests i rarely do.
anyway couple of odd things:
854.7625: get a couple seconds of open mike, or at least silence, and a guy mumbles something...but in analog...
852.75: display shows P25 941, and just sits on it like a control channel
i don't really mess with public safety stuff but the 941 seemed vaguely familiar, just tried to look it up, and Winston Salem ID is 941f (i know ID is not the same as NAC), but wrong freq anyway. Kernersville P25 is 946....and 852.75 is an Alt CC...
what system is this?
