Chattanooga area get together

Good Evening,

I am trying to plan a gathering for everyone interested in scanners and monitoring in the Southeast Tennessee-Northwest Georgia metro area. I think this would be a good time for all from the most experienced to the novice among us. We can discuss new equipment and old, technical and simple and anything and anyone you want to bring is welcome. I have tentatively set the date and time as Thursday evening 9-29-2005 at 1700 (5:00 PM), I open for suggestions on a good location. I would really like to meet everyone and maybe we can put a face to some of the names, and let some of the more experienced share with those that might be newer to this great hobby.

The ScanAtlanta gatherings that I have attended have been on Saturday's. That gives folks who would need to travel some distance a chance to do so.

Well Mike I guess scan-in 4 was the last time I got down there. Julian I dont know if we have met, but thanks for the nod to Saturday we may look at that so others can come in. I am mainly trying to just meet everyone so we can say howdy and get a few new people that I can tell are intrested in the hobby some good correct information so they might understand whats going on.

Due to staffing issues at work from the hurricanes, I will not be able to have the ScanChattanooga-ChattRadio meeting after all. I was looking forward to this and I will try and reschedule as soon as time allows.
