The Thunderbirds have arrived. They were dragged here by a KC-135 and are currently doing their fam flight over Chicago.

They sure sound like a bunch of "clowns" but must be the way they call out turns and dives 😂

Currently seven of them practicing, with the 7th one in a 2-seater on a training/incentive flight.

A10's are supposed to be from Maryland so try these Frequencies :

266.600 AM
271.400 AM
275.700 AM
293.300 AM

Will be on site tommorow for practice and will hopefully provide Air Boss frequency.

Have fun and I wonder if they'll have a frequency reading here the pilots connected to the PA system too because a few years ago I went there I heard Sean d Tucker speakers when I was listening in with my radio.

I am a newbie here (just joined), but have been a Ham since 2011; and have been listening to scanners since I bought my Bearcat 210 nearly 50 years ago.

It's been several years since I've been down for the airshow, so on Saturday, I am going to take Metra in and the 151 bus up to North Ave.

I appreciate all the info so far and am currently programing my radios; does
anyone know yet what the Airboss frequency will be?

Thank you so much.
