Its Booming again today here in Michigan with rainy weather
I've decided to just go ahead and download all the CHP lowband frequencies in the database and just start scanning them all. It's nice to have the tags now and know exactly where I'm listening in to. The band has been active for me all day from about 10 am Eastern to now 5:20 pm and still going strong. At first I thought you all were being silly, but entered the low band frequencies into my SDS 200 and by george, here in York County PA, I have been getting hits all afternoon. Simply amazing what skip can do.
I did that exact same thing. It's been dead quiet for me here today.I've decided to just go ahead and download all the CHP lowband frequencies in the database and just start scanning them all. I"m getting a lot in today and more up in NorCal than SOCAL. Pretty interesting with all the bad weatherToday has been a little slow going, but in the past week though I've been getting hits on atleat 30+ CHP frequencies.
We are in the middle of a huge solar storm, everything from 6 to 160 is affected. Once it passes the bands should open back up enough to get CHP across the country.Haven't heard CHP in a few days now. I wonder if has come to an end. Hopefully not for long, however.
