I wanted to add this so that one of the radio admins can add that to the DB for this area, i don't think ive seen it in the database for the chicago area
Most likely because no one has submitted a proper submission for adding it to the database. The database is not updated based on Forum posts, but by clicking on submission option in the database, for Chicago you click HERE

Someone who has actually heard it should make the submission at
vs those of us who have read 2nd hand that someone else heard it.

Remember this hobby is user supported based on actual Over-the-Air confirmations and submissions by all of us

Yeah i understand that you have to submit a request, i have heard that repeater myself. I have observed the radio admins adding things based on forum posts, and I just wanted to confirm if it was already present before submitting
On second thought, I don't know if I should submit this NAC in the IL section because that freq is listed in the DB as "multiple locations" and no NAC and there might be other systems in IL with different NACs. I'll submit on the cook county region though

Always make the submission based on your local area/heard, if the Admin's feel it is part of a nationwide page they can and have moved in the past, but since this is a specific allocation, altho from a Nationwide plan, it belongs in Cook or even IL statewide.

Has anyone heard this in Analog recently, ? might want to get that in there as well, if heard

Yes I submitted it as c67.0

67.0 would NOT be the PL for that site
that NAC maps to a PL of 123.0
Is it possible I am hearing a different repeater on the analog and different on digital? I checked my recording and 123.0 IS the tone on the analog voice, but when receiving the P25 audio in analog mode, a C67.0 shows up on the screen,
I'll update my submission

P25 does not have a CTCSS code, it would have a NAC code, you can not see the NAC on an analog radio, you would need a digital radio with P25 capability.

many Scanners FALSE on a weak P25 and do/have reported 67.0 as the PL
however there are no known R-08 or R-55 Repeaters in IL, nearest would be Flint MI

That explains it, thanks! my digital scanner was reporting that PL, but now I understand its a false report

Yeah their nets are usually very short, i don't think they have nationwide nets on VHF, those are probably HF
If you, or anyone else is interested, I'm in MI, and I've been hearing various regional state CAP nets, a quick roll call and that's it...on 7.630 MHz USB...evenings local time generally

Generally that would be the Great Lakes Net

New Info from yesterday's Net
Administrative Traffic, the NCS said that "the people that own our frequency" (who might this be?) have decided that nets are no longer to be done in analog effective May 1st. Usually, NCS does Wednesday night nets in FMN "because a lot of people don't have digital", but this will no longer happen.

They said the "people that own our frequency and bought all our radio equipment are now telling us" yesterday. NCS also said receivers in aircraft will still have analog, and if there's an emergency, the "radios will sort it out". So it sounds like the radios won't be changed, they just want to phase out FM for whatever reason, but it will be on all the radios.
NCS seems like to FMN here

Ahh, re-read the message, was thinking HF channels, YES the USAF is the primary owner of the USFS-Aux (CAP) frequencies. not DHS/Share that some of the CAP HF are co-mingled with

They are pretty much all FM on VHF just the difference of Analog vs P25

Im wondering if this change to P25 is nationwide or just around here? I would think it's nationwide if the orders came from USAF
