Clark County Radio System

I have a question to anyone who is scanning the Clark Regional Emergency Services Agency (CRESA) system on their scanners.

Do you hear noise between transmissions no matter what talkgroup is talking and have no control of your squelch level?

It seem to me that the control channel goes down for some reason and may be causing this problem.
I provide the feed here on RR for this system and it's bugging me. When things are operating ok, it shouldn't matter what the squelch control is set at, as it didn't before all this started.

I am in Portland. I just set my Motorola on FIRECOMM and there were three transmissions. I didn't hear any noise between transmissions, but there was a bit of "crackle" while she was talking.
It is 06:36.

This noise problem has seemed to have gone away for now. Maybe this was a system wide issue.
