This is my portable/mobile set-up. 7 RTL-SDR. All battery powered. I use a tripod with a vertical Omni that has 9 Dbi gain at 710 Mhz.

What antenna are you running?

I was afraid someone was going to ask that, so I had to look it up. It is a Childs Antenna Company, Grey Stick Base Antenna. Model Base 7509. It is long/tall for 700 Mhz, but does work nice.
