Clay county sheriff now has a repeater operating on 155.70. (Private 1)

In addition, the old PL 88.5 Hz has been changed to an unknown DPL code.

My gear doesn't have the capability to display unknown codes, so if anyone could pass the DPL code along, I'd appreciate it...

I also like any PL/DPL info for 159.825 if it has changed from 88.5 Hz.

I'll search sometime and see what I can come up with and submit it to the database as well as let you know... I'm a lil farther north than I was before, so it may be hit or miss for me now... Now that they have a repeater maybe I will hear them. I used to hear Kearney FD on their repeater, so I'll try Clay County.

155.700R has a DPL of 155, so far 159.825 still is 88.5

Thanks for the info.

I've been out of the loop for a while dealing with home repairs and wondered why the radio has been so quiet since I turned it back on. At first, I thought they jumped onto the 800 Mhz system, but disabled the PL and things were back to their normal activity level

For grins, I went through the archives and found the last simplex transmission was at 7 AM on 7-17-2012. An alert tone went out instructing everyone to switch to Private 2 until further notice.
At around 4 PM, units began returning and testing on Private 1 in repeater operation.

I did the same dam thing, kept wondering why I hadn't heard much from clay county, well maybe they went to 800 full time well no cause I would of heard them.

Started hearing traffic on there input channel with a DCS of 155 and it clicked. Took the PL off of 155.7000 and there they where.

O and Kearny DPL has changed again for some reason on 151.2050, it is now DCS 343

Any idea as to what is happening long term? Talk of going to KC MARRS system but cant imagine that is going to happen if they just activated a new repeater system and made all the changes / expense that goes along with that. Some of the County radio units are on MARRS doing process serving but Patrol is on VHF. Anyone have any info?

Have you guys checked for new talkgroups on the KC system that are active at the same time with the same traffic you are hearing on VHF? It is possible that a new or changed repeater could be a temporary patch to the trunked system until they get everybody moved to it.
