Clueless and in need of help

Hello folks

I purchased a Whistler WS1065 and I can't seem to get past selecting a USB to upload my selected frequencies. It is telling me to select a USB port but there aren't any to select. Am I missing something?

Simply put, I am looking to program the scanner and set scanning priorities.

Any help would be appreciated.

What PC software are you using? Are you using the Whistler PC/IF cable that came with the scanner? Does it briefly flash the green LED when you plug the cable into the PC's USB port?

I actually realized that the patch chord needed its own driver. Once I found and downloaded it, I was able to upload the frequency list to the scanner. The issue I have now its that I am only receiving on a single frequency. Thats one out of about 40.

Do you have the Squelch turned up - somewhere around 9 or 10 o'clock position?

Is the scanner set to "SCAN" and not MAN?
