WLO is on the air broadcasting marine warning on 6519 kHz in USB for ships in the Gulf Of Mexico.

WLO station is in New Orleans. Loud and clear here in San Antonio area.

And the other site, often quoted and kept very much up to date:

Hugh Stegman's Hurricane Freq list

I see on Hugh's Utility World website that the USCG will be making some changes to their FAX products effective in 5 days; I also need to find the HF freq shifts that happened on the first of the year, and see if Hugh's list reflects their new usage.

In addition to the 2 sites mentioned above, here are a few more with useful information. Note that the USCG FAX link has had the changes that took place on 6/15 applied. You should also take a look at the links mentioned in Hugh's file for additional information...

USCG FAX product summary

Atlantic Tropical Weather Center

NOAA National Wx Svc Marine forecasts

The Hurricane Hunters homepage

Recon Flight Schedules

I would also take a look at the ICAO HF Aeronautical Frequencies - check the CAR family of frequencies - on the Wiki.

Be safe everybody....73s Mike
