I believe there’s a post on radio reference regarding certain model ht1250 that do not support mdc 1200 if the model number on the radio ends with 5an it won’t decode mdc
This is factually incorrect. Initially it did not support it, however there were late in life firmware revisions that supported it, in different bandplans. Our dept had them, and I still have a HT1250LS+ that has MDC1200 and QCII.
I would like to know the last 3 digits of the OPs model number...
