And in Douglas County that would be code Adam.

Is this still true/known for the Douglas County Sheriff? Code Adam = confirmed fatality?

I ask because last night, there was a good-sized Sheriff and Fire response to a shooting next door to me (unknown circumstances, apart from husband (RP) saying his wife had shot herself). Eight minutes after the first deputy arrived, he said "this will be a code Adam". Sheriff was on-scene for another 3 hours.

Yes sir, Code Adam is still used by DCSO for fatality. Sorry to hear about your neighbor!
