R30 Computer Control software

Is there any software that will work with the R30 that can control the R30 with your computer with logging or other options? So far, I haven't found any. Thanks.

I'm a new and relatively inexperienced owner of an R-30, but I think you may want to take a close look at Icom's CS-R30 software.

I've learned the basics about how to use the software to program the R-30's memory channels, VFO scan edges, and some of the settings, but I'm not yet certain about whether or not it can handle reception logging. It looks like a very feature-rich tool, so my guess is that it probably can. You will probably need to install a microSD card in the radio (pretty simple) to record data (including reception logs?) or voice traffic.

Someone on this forum will probably give you much better information shortly.

I found the question asked in another thread about remote control of the R30 by computer software. To answer the question, I have not found any computer software to control the R30. However, there is software for Android and I Phone available on their respective app stores to control the R30...

ICOM's software is very limited! Check out Butel's ARC30 software:

Well that sucks. Oh well, such a sweet receiver would do well with a software program to control while hooked up to a computer.
