I have the Pro 95 and I want to hook it up to my computer so I can download frequencies. I went to Radio Shack to purchase the cord that is indicated in the manual, but I can't hook it up to my laptop. I have a Sony PCG-K35. Any recommendation on what I can get so I can download the frequencies.

I also went to Radio Shack to have them download frequencies from their computer, but it didn't work. They didn't have any more in stock to see if my unit was defective.
The only way that I can have frequencies, is to manual install them.

Any ideas?

I have a pro-2067, not sure if the manule is the same as mine but the cord stated in my man wouldent work correctly for the scanner, there is a newer one that is like 30$ that i got and it works like a charm, Also you may have to get a USB to Serial adapter to use it on your laptop (If the connection is'nt present on the laptop.)

If you are using a USB hook up then go with the one that jaffurd Post # 2 posted a link for.
