I talked to the programmer . .(The Scanner Doctor) . .and he told me the corruption was my fault, and he refused to do anything more
The
Scanner Doctor has a lucrative racket going on.
$20 for a card?
Here's five Class 10 cards on
Amazon for about $25. There are a number of other listings

$26 for the card, $40 to program .
ScannerMaster charges $59.95 for a
preprogrammed card. Their programming (when you buy a scanner) starts at $40 for one county, Additional counties add $20 for each extra.
Skimming your earlier posts, I take it that you do not have a card reader to access the SD card directly from your computer (not via the scanner in Mass Storage mode). So, since you put the card in, and the scanner gave you an error, your PC must have corrupted the card by being in the same room as your scanner.
Get a card reader. Chris posted one example above.
Here's one for $4.99 on
Amazon that'll do what you need.
There's a
"Black Friday" deal for a 5 pack of 32gb class 10 cards on Amazon. (The scanner comes with a 4gb card. About the only advantage for a larger card is that it gives you more room if you want to record audio on channels the scanner receives.)
If you pick up a card reader, and get a card (besides Amazon, there's a bunch of other places to get what you need), any number of us could send you a file with whatever programming you want. If you have not already done so, you will need to install
Sentinel on your computer. Once you have a formatted card, Sentinel has an option to "Clear User Data", which besides deleting any programming currently on the card, sets the card up with the file structure (such as folders) for use.
And no, I don't ask for "donations" like the "Scanner Doctor" does.
Also download & install this f
ree card formatting utility. If you formatted the card 'bubba' sent you, it might work (without buying another card), but cards are cheap & it's a food idea to keep a spare, preprogrammed, card just in case.
