COTHEN Question

Hello,

Would I expect to hear anything with a normal HF receiver on these Cothen frequencies, or do I need
the special ALE type of stuff to do so ?

If I do need ALE, are there any "regular" HF Cothen freq's that I might hear with my regular HF receiver (<30 MHz)

You do not need any ALE equipment to monitor COTHEN.

Correct; most folks I know fooling around with this mode use PC-ALE or MultiPSK, although whether either of these would work with an Excalibur is unknown.
