County, Township at odds over tower

The tower in question holds one of the sites in the ARMER Carver/Scott subsystem:

I realize this is an older post, but any updates on this? We read about this down here with interest because the state was trying to strongarm its way onto some towers in this area, claiming that ARMER needed them, etc..

I see ARMER has its fingers in the pie on this tower as well and i was curious what happened to it. Took some searching to find this old post and the link to the newspaper article.

Any news?

Interesting... And they are taking down just over half of the tower as well. I suppose it makes sense, they don't need anything that tall for the system that will be on it. Being that it was previously a broadcast tower i can see the reason for the additional height when it was first built.

I see they didn't mention how MUCH rent the county would be paying the township.
