Ok here it go's I have a toshiba laptop with Windows 2000 with my CPS 6.12.02 installed on it.I saved the saved install file in a folder just in case needed to delete and reinstall. I been useing this same program for my CDM1250's and never had a promblem with reading or writing to the radio's. Now I have a Panasonic ToughBook CF-19 installed the software on that laptop and I can only read one radio and not the other. The one that will not read comes up with this "Error 4-1379 Invalid regional code for this CPS version". I looked at the software and on my Toshiba laptop it says Support Regions are La FD MD AA AZ but I installed the same software in my ToughBook and it says it only Suppoerts AA. I have the current CPS 6.12.05 and it says the same thing when installed into the Toughbook. I have read online that you can edit the value in the registery but is it safe to do ? and How do you do this.... If some body could help I would appreciate if very much not to good with computers I would need step by step directions.
