Was getting Voluisa site 10 keeps going back to a freq doesn't like and can't lock in.

I am picking up site 27 (700mhz) for slers p25. It reverts back to 851.000 weird though.billy2047

700 mhz is very weak where i'm dsdfl is unable decode anything but will keep monitoringI only can get what the open bands give me
I'm also getting Miami FMs (Y100) up here at one time it overpowered Tampa's WMTX
I’m picking up Indian river p25. Have you try to get Polk county p25?
Itvtry to pick up Putnam 700. I’m getting Marion county also

I did see 853.55 pop up but it was too weak to decode anything it could be polk or baker county.
I saw pretty much every step (.0125, .025 etc) in the 800 MHz band was filled with RF on my fmp24 window
Didn't monitor 700mhz much cause the noise floor for that band was kinda high
Signals seems fading now..
Polk would be 853.850 I did pick monroe site 9 p25. It lasted for a few mints

@billy2047 try to see if you get any open bands by you? I'm picking up uhf stuff out of clay county area.

I'm near Tallahassee getting VHF UHF signals from Tampa area, but not as wild as it was few days ago. I will keep monitoring

Wednesday morning was just crazy. I was getting scanner traffic from all over the south, but my biggest surprise was on FM. From my living room using my radio with its 16 inch built-in antenna I was picking up KTEX 100.3 Mercedes Texas, which is in the Brownsville Texas area. According to Google, it was 925 miles away as the crow flies. Normally when I pick up stations this far away it’s during a sporadic event, and I only received them for maybe a couple of minutes at most but this time the signal was strong and consistent. I don’t know how long the signal stayed, but I picked it up for 90 minutes before I had to go to work.
I was getting some Cap+ system on 159 and 160. Than I decide to scan stuff on dsdplus holy cow getting Space Center trunking full scale.
@billy2047 not sure if you are able to see what you can get tonight. I'm picking up a few systems already just like last night.

It looks like VHF high is trying to get going. i'm not getting much on UHF side tho maybe it's because my location but we shall see

Tonight from Largo, I am picking up VHF and UHF traffic from Georgia and the Florida panhandle. On the weather radio frequencies I am picking up a total of 18 different stations depending on which channel and which direction I point my radio in.
During the night was picking up this system Camden County Ga. Camden County Public Safety (GA) Trunking System, Various, Georgia Only lasted for a few mints didn't get much TG's or info.
