As of now I’m picking up volusia p25 site 2 851.100 with 0-1 bars. Also getting collier p25 site 35 2-3 bars. All this in Polk cnty.

Getting a new site 4 for lee cnty p25.

Picking up W4IZ 146.7000 vhf ham repeater from Jax tonight full quieting from Riverview on SDS200 on Jpole from ground level.

Also hearing Gainesville FD automated fire dispatches on 154.235 or somewhere close by.

Well tonight bands were opening up since 9pm. I was talking to some people on bartow gmrs some Pete where far as port charlotte and far east coast Melbourne area. I didn’t put up the tripod antenna since I was doing some stuff on the computer.

I’ve been using that one for years. Most of Fl was orange no red. Last week was red nothing came in just normal stuff.

I find that website, even on VHF ... to not be accurate. at all. perhaps it's a good indicator or something - but it's a "YMMV" for me (even on VHF)

Most of the APRS traffic dxview logs from our area mainly sources from stations transcieving on pretty decent towers, like NI4CE, WC4PEM and the like. Definitely YMMV for the average ground-based DX'er.

I’m picking up sites 1 and 2 Kennedy space center in downtown bartow using a 18 foot tripod.

A hour ago I put up my antenna and getting mcdill AFB. Also getting space center s2 on/off.

I’m in St Augustine and picking 2 sites for fleet talk sites 27 and 30 with 3-5 bars using the 18 foot tripod antenna.

The past hour been picking up Brevard Space Force system 157 1.9 1.90 and 1.91 in Polk County. Also getting the 406 KSC system also.

The past few hours been picking up systems from Patrick AFB and a few FL Fleet Talk sites from vero bch

I’m even getting Camden cnty ga vhf analog. 155.115 I haven’t heard that in 15 years.

there was a qso on 146.520 earlier between Florida and Texas

I just heard in tampa bay either....sounded like Sheriff not fire
