Bands are going nutsooooo again. I'm getting south Fl nothing north of polk.

I’m on vacation in Destin and the bands are live once again. Not only can I hear them they can hear me. Using an F8HP I was able to make contact with the NI4CE Hillsborough repeater. Had a quick conversation and according to my contact I was fully copyable with just a little bit of scratchiness.

I think you are in some ducting, all of the space weather doesn.t show much in favor above 25 MHz at US/CA border.

I Remember when I used to monitor the Packet Radio channels on ham radio years ago. I would receive direct packets from all over the west coast of the USA.It was fun.

As of now I'm picking up Kennedy Space center in polk county seems bands are opening up.

From Oldsmar, I was hitting Bartow, Lakeland, & Sarasota with an h-t

From Dunedin with an h-t + 6" quarter-wave mag mount on the car, I hit Bartow, Lakeland, Sarasota, Sebring, & San Antonio/St. Leo

All on GMRS with 4 watts

Same over here on the West Coast: Bartow, Lakeland, & Sarasota, I'm accessing them from Oldsmar & Dunedin/Palm Harbor/North Clearwater

Plus, just with my h-t, I announced on Bradenton, & Englewood, but no responses
