CENTENNIAL - A family was able to get out safely Thursday morning after a fire broke out on the second floor of their home.
Cunningham Fire Department was called to 3833 S. Kirk Way at 5 a.m. Thursday morning and when they arrived they could see flames and smoke coming from the house. Firefighters were able to quickly put out the fire, containing the damage to the second floor.
There was no word on what may have caused the fire or the extent of the damage to the home. Fire crews said no one was injured.
