Any reason why the database is wide open when not logged into the site?

Copied from RR homepage:

Best of all, access to all the data is free, however you must register with this site to access the Radio Reference Database and post to the Radio Reference Forums.

So why is the database open? Hmmmmmmmm

I'd bet something's broke. I know in the past I've wanted to pop in there and check something and it asked me to log in.

Hmm... or maybe it was broke then, and fixed now?? :?

Nothing is broke - I've decided to open the database up to non-subscribers for view access.

obviously, you can't post in the forums except here unless you are logged in and a valid member.
