I've noticed in the database that there are basically two ways in which DMR details are listed: 1) the slot, control channel, and talkgroup (if known) are listed all in the "tone" column, or 2) the color code is listed in the "tone" column, and slot and talkgroup are in the "description" column. Here's an example of a page showing both: Yell County, Arkansas (AR) Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference

Can I assume that someday soon, the database is going to be taken offline for a time and then a completely standardized and reformatted database put in its place? My apologies, I guess that I'm a stickler for uniformity.

I'm here a lot
If the slot and talk group is known, it properly belongs in the Tone column, not in the Description column.

Please make a submission and the appropriate Database Administrator can correct this.

Thank you for pointing this out. :)

Prior to DB upgrades for DMR information, info was previously noted in the description field. Now that this change has been made , we haven't gotten to all of the changes yet and it probably was just overlooked . Like mciupa said , if you make a submission someone can update it.

Per instructions, I have made numerous submissions.

As a further note, sometime later this year Whistler (and perhaps Uniden, we all hope) will make NXDN digital available in their flagship scanners, the TRX-1 and TRX-2. NXDN has two different emission formats, 12.5 KHz and 6.25 KHz as well as the tone referred to as RAN. Shouldn't the RAN and the narrow / wide emission types be shown in the 'tone' column? I ask because in some NXDN submissions I see the RAN listed in the 'tone' column and the emission type in the 'description' column.

I'm sure once those modes have been implemented on those scanners, changes to the DB will be made accordingly.
