Hi all

purchased programming software for my triple band/repeater radio. Would like to know what would be the appropriate default FM modes (Wide, Narrow, etc) and spacing used

Regards

Amateur service is usually the 'wide' FM but can also be narrow. I don't know about 'spacing'??

For ham radio in N. America the mode would be FM and channel spacing for repeaters differs depending on the band and local band plans. There are a few FMN repeaters in some places.
the normal band plans in most areas are
2m 15 kHz or 20 kHz
1.25m 20 kHz
70cm 25 kHz or 12.5 kHz

FRS and GMRS are probably the same in the US and Canada.
FRS FMN 12.5 kHz
GMRS FM 12.5 kHz.
