I had a chance to speak with a DeKalb Fire Captain about the new DTRS and he said that just about everyone has the new radio's and they are schedule for April 1st to cut over. Said that it's supposed to be a single cutover - everyone at once. That will be fun to see!

Glad I still have the P-25 system in my 106:))) What a day to switch over. I have yet to hear any more testing of the system. It truly will be interesting.

Hooked up the 106 to Pro96com. No TG's or new radio ID's. Signal is stronger here in N Gwinnett. Will turn the radio on again around midnite and see if anything happens. Will monitor tomorrow.

April Fools joke on us /\/\ike:) I've been monitoring the P-25 system since yesterday and there is no activity at all. I'll let ya'll know later if there is anything.

Hey, just letting you know what the DKFD Captain told me. Probably needs to extend the period like Osama did with the DTV! :)
