When should their fcc licenses be approved for p25?
P25 emission designators have been added to the licenses
Awsome but when should we expect testing
2149 - I am still hearing EDACS comms on the system.

The Delaware River Port Authority upgrade is in progress. All antenna work is completed with the new microwave backhaul installed and online.
All services including PATCO will be migrating to P25 in 2021.

Mixed news....Digital Encryption system wide..My guess. DRPA has never been portrayed as a transparent organization. This would fit will their operation model. Just my opinion, not based on any fact. Besides everyone knows what opinions are like!
I was told LE Talkgroups will be.

Is it just my end but the analog Talkgroups are staticky today like nothing comeing thew sometimes?
Nobody has any update what's going on I take it
As soon as an update arises, I'm sure someone will share. No need to keep asking every few days
This. Good grief, just keep an eye and ear on the system frequencies, and when you find a P25 control channel, you'll have your update. 🤦♂️

The DRPA P25 system is in active stage of installation. EDACS channels 5 and 6 are now removed from the existing system for P25 cut-over to happen in July.
2 of the 5 RF sites are completed and work on the 3rd will commence next week.
The following groups are for the system and all Public Safety groups are encrypted.

Yes, The only encrypted groups will be Public Safety Groups. All maintenance and PATCO operations will be clear.
