It will work except for Voice Channels ending with .XXX0. The PRO-2096 with Standard MOT Bandplan won't tune to 851.7250 MHz It will tune to 862.7125 MHz instead. You will miss comms on 851.7250 MHz. Its the only VC that wont't work with the MOT Standard Bandplan on the NCCo Zone. Kent and Sussex Counties have a few VC's that end in .XXX0.

I am getting the 862.71250 as well and I reprogrammed my software with the new RR DB freqs. How do I get the scanner to stop picking up this radio freq when it is not even programmed into the scanner?

I have the Pro96. Thanks

So what do I need to do to correct this?

See message 17 of this thread for the answer. You will likely need to load some new custom tables, and you can't do this manually - it has to be done with software

Just for clarification - we have links for ALL the applicable scanners that can be rebanded (including the PRO-96 and 2096) in section 7 of the rebanding article in the wiki

Rebanding - The RadioReference Wiki

Just click on the topic and you'll go directly there. This is one of the tools that makes the wiki a fast resource.

OK I put in custom tables and now I hear nothing. I can't even get the extended tables to come up to see if it is correct. What did I do wrong? I really have never used this software before other than doing manual entries and the wiki is confusing.

Ok I tried the multi-table and custom table. On Custom table I get nothing and on multi-table I get activity but it still hangs up on the questioned 852 freq. I hear static on that VC. It is very annoying and the Wiki doesn't specifically mention how to get the extended tables without the multi-table enabled. If I do custom I don't know how to set it. Someone please help me this static is very annoying and I confused by the wiki. Thanks

In Win96, select "3600 Multi-Table". From the Drop-Down Menu, select "800 MHz Rebanded". The Tables will self populate with the bandplan.

Haven't seen anything on Kent County changing over yet. Anyone have any ideas as to when that takes place?

Anyone using the Uniden 996xt? I'm told that the unit automatically detects the table. I'm too far away now to monitor.

If the CC were a true P25 signal, then yes the Unidens wouldn't need a custom table. Unfortunately, as I understand it, it's not - so you will need to program it accordingly...Mike

Kent county from what I understand everything should be done by April 12

Reportedly, Sussex is back to the non-rebanded channels for now. This is also why we have not seen any changes in Kent I would guess.

The Kent County Zone is using 868.7500 MHz, one of the Alternate CCh's. DSP N-CMD now affiliates to the Kent County Zone. The Rebanded Bandplan will work with old and new CCh's, so to be safe, program old and new CCh's until the system finalizes Rebanding.

From what I hear Sussex is still having issues

I heard the other day from a VFD Member in Kent, that there is a radio/scanner store in New Castle that sells scanners and they will set them up with the new DE bandplan. It's not HRO or RS. Any one familiar with this shop?
