I don't believe you can delete them, but I suppose you could edit them down to being really, really short. Like one character, maybe?

I believe you can only edit them.

For the first 24 hours I believe and then they become locked. Pretty good policy, I think.

Deletion of posts by users is not permitted, editing is allowed for a certain amount of time (except in the classifieds). Never post an emotional response and always preview your posts before submitting them. If those two tenets are followed, you will fair much better.
