If you are referring to the amount of calls aired over the radio for police, that is usually due to most departments in Colorado using computer aided dispatch or CAD, where lower priority calls (usually with the exception of traffic stops) are self dispatched through the computer in the car (except in the frequent and likely event of a computer failure, then everything gets aired for a while). A lack of major calls, although not very exciting for someone monitoring, is a good thing :)

I believe the OP is talking about the on-line feed which does appear to have a lower volume than some of the other feeds.

Has anyone contacted Bill the host of that feed, he's very receptive to feedback and will turn one or both of the scanners up if needed.

Maybe he already did sounds great here tonight.
