Looks like they were having some radio problems recently, power is back up where it used to be as of this morning.

At least from where my antenna is located, the signal strength seems just as strong as when they were using NXDN.

My humble guess is that they were having some trouble with one of their repeaters and it's now been sorted out.

As of last week, I can confirm DMR, also. Was out that way, and heard a traffic stop as I passed through Denville on Rt80. Unsure of if their power changed, but I can tell you that I could barely pick them up when I was approaching Parsippany/Mountain Lakes on 80.

I remember when they were on NXDN and just last year, locally, in Mt. Lakes/Boonton on 202 I could pick them up clear as day.

For reference this is with a 996p2, and Larsen NMO Mag mount tri-band. But nonetheless, DMR indeed.

Yeah, they are booming in now. Probably back up on Casterline Road by the Fire Tower.

It is odd, they had an incident yesterday and I seem to have not caught much since then on the scanner with tracking. Hoping they just slow.

I heard them in Parsippany last week on 460.5875 DMR, as stated in the RR database. That was the first time in quite a while that I was able to monitor them. Glad to hear them again as my own town, Morris County's largest, went ENC last year.
