Did theantennafarm.com stop selling custom coax? I went to their site to configure some cables and it doesn't seem like they offer the service anymore? Is there an alternative for custom coax that you've used in the past that compares to the Antenna Farm? Thanks

Yes. I emailed them last night and they responded this morning "for now".

There was another thread within the past couple days that provided some alternatives.

Damn, it seems like they really are going downhill. I loved all the options Antenna Farm had for custom cables, especially choosing different connector brands. I tried to order one just a couple minutes ago and noticed the option was gone.

I think I'll try Northcomm. For some reason the Northcomm custom portal offers LMR-195 but not 200, I'd be a little curious to know why but I'm guessing they're pretty close in terms of performance.

I've orderd personal and work stuff from them in the past, and they were always good.
My last order was delayed by 2 months and poor communications from them.

I hope they get whatever it is worked out, they were a useful option.

On the other hand, I may have to add "custom cable builds" to my "Late Night NMO install" offerings for my retirement gig...

my last order from them was quick, but it was a single antenna, and shipped from the "new" georgia location.

I call and have them physically confirm they have what I want in stock due to issues in the past. If they are unwilling to do that why buy?

I just went to their website intending to order a Larsen antenna and this is at the top of the page:

"Due to the health of the owner we will be closed until Spring of 2024. All orders placed will be shipped. Thank you."

I don't know if that means orders ALREADY placed, or if they are still taking on-line orders. They didn't have what I was looking for so I didn't try to place a new order.

In any event I hope the owner is doing OK.

Closed until Spring 2024 means just that. Thus, prior orders are what they are looking to fulfill. If they were still taking orders, no need to alert customers that they are closed.
