• Are you connected to ProScan?
  • Proscan has an optional setting to resume scanning after a period of time
• Do you have any of the priority settings enabled? (Close Call, Weather Priority, Priority Scan, etc)
  • Each of these will cause transmissions to be interrupted
• Have you adjusted any of the delay settings?
  • A negative delay causes the scanner to resume scanning after that number of seconds

Does this happen on all transmissions - or is it limited to a subset of channels/systems/frequencies?
How long does it stay on the transmission before it cuts short?
Does it interrupt the transmission and return to the transmission - or does it immediately resume scanning?

Yes i am connnecated to proscan.

no i don't have any priority enabled.

I have all my delay settings set to 5 seconds in sentinel.

No it only happens on ems type transmissions. like when u hear a bunch of beeping then somone comes on and starts talking about a emergency they need to respond to it will cut it off during the transmission.

the amount of time varies.

it returns to scanning right after.

You really should keep the dsdplus stuff in the correct forum. All that should be p25 so it sounds like you have something set wrong. You also have a set ppm and your dongle is still trying to adjust because you have auto tune on. That means that 7.7 could be slightly better. You should turn of auto and adjust ppm up or down until you get the lowest value

Everything around those signals are P25 it's all the AEP power company stuff thats all i have in the 850mhz all my other stuff is 450 and 150mhz.

I was told to adjust the ppm and i tried to do it i was told that u needed to adjust it until the green line comes to the center so i did. but it still seems to correct it'self. How do i turn off auto tune? and what is the correct instructions to set the ppm right?

Another issue i seem to have. when my sds100 will stop on a emrgency channel like the ambulance it will start a series of beeps then the person will come on and start talking but it always cuts them off short and i don't get the full transmission this happens alot . any idea what it could be? i have the delay time set to 5 seconds and thats all no hold times or anything . it ruins the experience because everytime u hear something u have to wonder if it's gonna cut off . Thanks again everyone.

The video shows your in replay mode. I am not sure if replay mode would indicate if you have any priorities turned on. Post a video of live scanning.

To me it sounds like one is turned on.

To me it sounds like one is turned on.

i'm in replay mode because it's hard to catch it when it's live all those options you stated are turned off they were never on.
everything that shows in the replay mode is everything thats shown in the live mode

From your video, you have Close Call enabled. Turn off close call and see if your problem goes away. (Alternatively, you can select Close Call DND (Do Not Disturb) to prevent close call from checking frequencies during a transmission)

Close call was on . i will try it now without it and let u know if it does it again. the emergency stations don't come on but rarely . i still have that overload issue it's always been there i have noticed that when dsdplus is on the offending frequency and the scanner stops on that freqs it even interrupts the scanner traffic.

Yeah but is there more to it than just adding the freqs in sentinel? if there isn't then i don't want to keep going down the rabbit hole for nothing lol

You asked that question a week ago. The answer is still the same. Append to fav list from sentinel.

I did just purchase the DMR upgrade and i have the NXDN upgrade as well, with the DMR upgrade do you have to do any other programming or does getting the upgrade work instantly with no other programming required?

if scanning full database, no. If using favorites list, you need to have it programmed as dmr or nxdn.

I asked in another forum but do you know how to copy the dmr freqs from digital freq search and past them into sentinel? this is my first time using the site but it's changed from the video.

I tried the copy and paste method but it gives me a error and it copies some but it's all out of order
