- Are you connected to ProScan?
- Proscan has an optional setting to resume scanning after a period of time
- Do you have any of the priority settings enabled? (Close Call, Weather Priority, Priority Scan, etc)
- Each of these will cause transmissions to be interrupted
- Have you adjusted any of the delay settings?
- A negative delay causes the scanner to resume scanning after that number of seconds
Does this happen on all transmissions - or is it limited to a subset of channels/systems/frequencies?
How long does it stay on the transmission before it cuts short?
Does it interrupt the transmission and return to the transmission - or does it immediately resume scanning?
no i don't have any priority enabled.
I have all my delay settings set to 5 seconds in sentinel.
No it only happens on ems type transmissions. like when u hear a bunch of beeping then somone comes on and starts talking about a emergency they need to respond to it will cut it off during the transmission.
the amount of time varies.
it returns to scanning right after.
