Does anyone know Dinwiddie Fire and EMS’ new frequencies on the new system?
TIA!
TIA!
Thank you so much! I will see if this works! Here's what I've come up with in my searches of the FCC database:
WRMQ766
WRMQ786
I'm not close enough to Dinwiddie to check for control channels or anything like that
Sounds good. Let us know if you find any CCs/voice traffic! We need to get the system into the databaseThank you so much! I will see if this works!
It's already live, they cutover on 11/01 I believe. It's Motorola - Dinwiddie ECC posted photos of RCV & friends during the cutover and installing equipment last minute in their comm center. Given the fact that PG just went Harris, I was surprised to see Moto won the bid for Dinwiddie.I have to wonder whether it will be a Motorola P25 system or Harris. I live in Chesterfield County and should be able to hear it when they start testing.
I don't know, but know they were working on new system thru the Summer. Everything disappeared about Tuesday 14 Nov. Police and everything.Does anyone know Dinwiddie Fire and EMS’ new frequencies on the new system?
TIA!
Per their report for needing the new system, the sheriff is desiring encryption, not sure if full time or if just partiallyMade a visit to Dinwiddie County this evening. Never been there before.

I have an SDS-100 also, and a BCD436HP. Was running search from 758 to 805. SDS100 would always stop on 769.093750 and would say 'Repeater Found'. Hits on several others in that range but no voice. I've been listening to Dinwiddie for 20+ years. Resident near the Courthouse. They do not need encryption for Sheriff Dispatch. Maybe, Sheriffs Tac channel. Also, I just turned on my SDS100 after programming this system in as described above, and am not getting any CC or voice traffic. Living in Petersburg.
This is a whole different topic that we don't need to go down. They do not need encryption for Sheriff Dispatch. Maybe, Sheriffs Tac channel.
When is radio reference going to get this in system so you can get a card with it programeMade a visit to Dinwiddie County this evening. Never been there before.

The information loaded in RadioReference comes from those who monitor the system and upload the information into the database. It will continue to evolve over the next several months. When is radio reference going to get this in system so you can get a card with it programe
I'm in Petersburg with the same issue. If anyone would play with my SDS100 and maybe BCD436HP to get the new Dinwiddie sys up, Local within 30 kilometers, I'll travel. Dinwiddie/Petersburg/Hopewell/Brunswick. Reward. I don't think the 2014 BCD436 does 700. Whatever.
They are likely using directional antennas focused more at keeping their signal within their county as compared to an every which way antennaWonder why they powered it down. Doesn't make much sense to me, I'd imagine they would want as much coverage as possible.
