I will also go visit some of these tower locations at some point for further investigation and report back.Wonder why they powered it down. Doesn't make much sense to me, I'd imagine they would want as much coverage as possible.

I had just submitted the information after I finished the post here, Please give the admin time to implement it into the databaseIf anyone wants to submit changes to the system, it's at Dinwiddie County Trunking System, Various, Virginia. Not sure why it's not showing under Dinwiddie County Trunked Systems, maybe an oversight or because it has no sites or talkgroups yet.
New to the group. Using Sentinel software to program Uniden BCD536HP. How do I get the above programmed for Dinwiddie as the Uniden database does not have frequencies listed? I live in Dinwiddie.I went to three different sites today, the towers are in fact weak output, but the signals are being broadcasted into the city directionally, the NAC is B90h, the system ID is B96h, BEE00h, not 890h and 896h as BlueMoon2 has reported, 796.093750MHz is confirmed as a Primary Control as Vern23882 reported, confirmed the previous reported talkgroup assignments, as of right now, there is no encryption, but I suspect that will in fact change as time goes along, and unfortunately Wink64, you will need to be in the county to actually monitor, so for those who was in a not too distant locations will no longer be able to monitor this system, I noticed when I got 3 miles outside of Dinwiddie that most of the signal had fallen off and the system could no longer be monitored, I'm using an SDS100 with Comet SMA24 antenna.
you should see them in the database now, they just posted last night.New to the group. Using Sentinel software to program Uniden BCD536HP. How do I get the above programmed for Dinwiddie as the Uniden database does not have frequencies listed? I live in Dinwiddie.
I also sent you a private message here on the forums.New to the group. Using Sentinel software to program Uniden BCD536HP. How do I get the above programmed for Dinwiddie as the Uniden database does not have frequencies listed? I live in Dinwiddie.
I didn't have any of the control channel information available so none submitted.Since this is a Motorola system based on the WACN, not all frequencies would be control channels. Is the RRDB awaiting more information as none of the frequencies in the RRDB entry are marked as control channels.
Might want to summit your info they dont have a control channel flag or the other talk groups Thanks for the info.I drove thru on Saturday, and here's what i got from my recordings:
CC was 769.09375
Heard 201 referred to by sheriff cars as "Main", there was also some tactical on 203
Heard Fire tone-outs on 1001, heard 1002 referred to as "Primary", and 1004 was being used by units on-scene at a fire call

I still hear everything from Petersburg from 2 miles South of Dinwiddie Courthouse, on my SDS100. I refuse to believe DW has the $ to pay for a freaky system like Hopewell has always done to this day. I guess, figure it out sooner or later. Nothing here worth all that. DW is a huge county, land-wise. Always had low-spots, here and there, thru-out the County. Remedy? Nope, not with VHF on the ground.
What do you mean about Hopewell? I can receive their system from nearly 20 miles to the north.I still hear everything from Petersburg from 2 miles South of Dinwiddie Courthouse, on my SDS100. I plotted the approximate locations of the simulcast sites for this system. Note that the edge sites are using directional antennas generally oriented inwards towards the county center, and the more central sites are omni. Therefore, I would not expect signaling to reach very far outside the county borders.
