Okay, i have posted questions before about what should i be listening to. in my small private bank of 50. i changed what i had to the new list i have attached here. plus i added a couple fire frequencies and local cities. however....

it seems almost all the dispatch channels 1-15. most the time they seem the same. half the time they sound like crap. now for MY AREA....am i maybe not able to pick some of those up as good as others. so I'm thinking about changing back to my original 50 i had. im kind of talking outloud, but any help would be great. thanks!

1st file: new list
2nd file: old, but probably better list

Not knowing what kind of radio you are using, some observations:

First, are you using an outside antenna or inside antenna? If an inside antenna, does changing the location of the radio (or antenna) help any?

You list a number of frequencies that are not intended to be local to your area (Lancaster, Malibu / Lost Hills, and SCV for example). I would not expect them to be clear. You appear to have a direct line-of-sight to two major L.A. County transmit sites, and your radio / antenna may be at a location where the two transmitters 'compete' on simulcast channels, so you do not get a clear signal; or, you may be listening to a transmission from a farther site and the signal is impacted by an adjacent channel signal from the closer in site (across the same ridge.from your map pin).

I personally think the old list (with maybe a couple of changes) is better suited for _ your _ location.
