DJ-X3 Software needed

Just got a Alinco DJ-X3 off ebay (and it works) yay!!! ... Only thing is - it's a prick to program (atleast to me) and I would like to try the software for it.. Alinco's website say the software is 1.3.2 and 4.46mb - this downloads a zip file version 1.03 and about 500k that does not run - has ANYBODY got any software for this scanner?? it is the e version if that makes any difference...

Since we have very little in our wiki on this, the Yahoo group might be the only other resource...by the way, I'm not entirely sure I'm right here, but I think the 'E' version means that you have the European version, not the American one...

I had seen the yahoo group and was hoping there was sumn else as I have had trouble with spam on another group so am a bit reluctant to try it... Yes the E does mean European version so not sure if compatiable with the software designed for the American models... I think the only difference is the extended freq receive and the Voice Inversion? scrambler is activated.... I will try the yahoo group - can't be too bad if listed on here right?... I will try throwing some commands at it in the future with hyperterminal and see what happens - maybe even write a small program for it.. If I do I will upload it here...

Found the Alinco software on the net at Index of /ftp - just navigate to alinco - dj-x3 software - windows and it is there
