Will the 436/536 close call function find DMR signals?

if you are close enough to what ever is transmitting dmr . it will , i found one last week by doing close call . scanner was hooked up to a roof top antenna

To confirm, after extensive testing: DMR repeater signals will easily be detected by close call (no difference to how CC works against an analogue/NXDN etc signal with similar parameters). It definitely won't CC on a DMR simplex/direct mode signal. If I recall, it's the pulse width that's too short for CC to detect it.

For a repeater yes. For direct/simplex, then you must have been very very lucky (ie it was a freak occurrence)
